Loshultsgubben from Skåne

The earliest known bronze figurines in Sweden come from a substantial find dated to the second period of the Bronze Age (approximately 1500–1400 BCE). They were discovered as a pair beneath a stone at Stockhult in the parish of Loshult, Skåne. A large number of other objects were found alongside them. The figurines lack arms, which may have been movable, and they wear what appear to be short trousers and pointed headdresses with straight brims. Their distinctive feature is that they were found as a pair, which may carry symbolic meaning, as twins held significant mythological importance among Indo-European peoples. Some researchers have speculated that they may represent an early depiction of Odin.
